Brook Place Apartments Wayfinding Installed

Design Inspired by the Brand and Architecture

Latest images of the wayfinding installation at Brook Place, Sheffield – a 237-home apartment building, owned by build to rent specialist Grainger. Arranged over 9 floors Brook Place offers a range of amenities, including a gym, shared workspace, resident’s lounge and roof top terrace for customers to enjoy.

Research has shown that that there is a direct correlation between the length of stay and the number of other residents a customer gets to know.  It is while using the amenities that residents are likely to meet and develop connections.  So, as well as welcoming prospective and new customers, the wayfinding has a key role in encouraging residents to make use of all the facilities.

The design of the signs is inspired by both the Grainger brand and the architecture. The trapezium shape echoes the half-mast Grainger identity and the materials (a mix of stainless steel and Corten laminate) provide a direct connection with the Corten steel façade signature of the building.
